Welcome to Canterbury & District Cats Protection.   The Branch is run by volunteers who are dedicated to helping make the lives of cats and kittens in our area better.  Our webpages are updated regularly to make sure we provide up to date infomation on our cats and Branch activities.

During 2008 through our efforts 191 cats and kittens found their way into loving homes and we neutered over 265 cats. We also continued our work to make the life of local feral puss cat less harsh and we carried on trapping, neutering and releasing adult ferals, while socializing ex-feral kittens to live a life of domestic bliss.

Through our telephone  advice line and email enquires wet with literally hundreds of enquiries on stray cats, lost and found, welfare, rehoming and neutering. While some poorly cats who where just to frail and poorly to be rehomed found some tender loving care with our fosterers in their final days

Can you help our branch become more successful and proactive in 2009? Why not check out our;

IF YOU WISH TO ADOPT  A CAT OR A KITTEN  PLEASE CLICK HERE TO VISIT OUR CATCHAT PAGE WHERE YOU WILL FIND INFORMATION & PHOTOS OF SOME OF THE CATS IN OUR CARE!

WHY NEUTER?  If you cannot genuinely afford to neuter your cat then CP can help. For details CLICK HERE TO EMAIL US Because an un-speyed female cat can be responsible for the birth of 10,924 kittens in just 6 years!  And an entire tom lives a rough, hard and much shortened life compared to his neutered cousins!  Please check  the neutering section of our website.

WE HAVE FAR TOO MANY LOST CATS ON OUR LOST & FOUND REGISTER!  IS YOUR CAT ONE OF THEM? PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT.

Use the VetUK link below to order all your pet goodies & we receive a small commission paid to us by VetUK. The more people using this link the more money we towards branch funds!
